The British Columbia PCJV works with the US PCJV to conserve important
bird habitat along the Pacific Coast of North America.
The British Columbia Pacific Coast Joint Venture encompasses the entire coastline
of British Columbia from Alaska to Washington state, including Vancouver Island
and the Queen Charlotte Islands.
The BC PCJV:
- Facilitates collaboration between conservation partners to conserve habitat.
- Encourages partnership on research opportunities that can assist with landscape-level
planning for bird conservation.
- Works to advance specific goals of its Implementation Plan.
- Assists partners with filling gaps in science, capacity and/or funding for bird
habitat conservation activities that align with PCJV priorities.
