Partnerships for Bird Habitat Conservation

Private groups and government agencies working through the Oregon Habitat Joint Venture – the Oregon arm of the PCJV – have conserved thousands of acres of important habitat for birds and other wildlife since 1991.

Working together, this diverse group of partners has protected and improved large blocks of high-value habitat – ranging from estuaries and floodplain forests, to oak woodlands and grasslands – with special significance for Oregon’s biological diversity.

These successes are the results of voluntary, cooperative efforts – and partnerships that allow government agencies and private organizations to combine their resources for maximum effectiveness.

We appreciate your interest and hope you’ll join us in working to conserve habitats for Oregon’s birds and other wildlife.
